Projects - Master Development Plan

The City of Stow, located near Akron, Ohio, asked Pizzuti Solutions to help realize the communityÍs economic growth capabilities. PizzutiÍs expertise was called upon to conduct infrastructure and land use studies, create business incentives, look at industrial park development, and research land use opportunities, including the use of Kent State UniversityÍs airport.

Pizzuti created a thorough Master Development Plan including an Economic Development Plan for Stow that leveraged the cityÍs proximity to transportation resources and to the cities of Cleveland and Akron. An incentive plan was put into effect, which included creating plans for undeveloped areas in the city. Working diligently with Stow residents, city staff, business leaders and regional leaders, Pizzuti helped put Stow on a path to strong economic development that has already started to change the cityÍs landscape.

[3/2/2007] The Economic Development Plan is complete and was presented to Stow City Council.

As part of the planning process, Pizzuti conducted infrastructure and land use studies and researched land use opportunities and potential industrial park development.

Economic Development Plan
[3/15/2006] Pizzuti Solutions is finalizing the Economic Development Plan and will be presenting the final version to the Steering Committee in April. Following that meeting, the Solutions team will present the Plan to City Council.

[8/8/2005] As Pizzuti Solutions continues to review roundtable discussions with the business community and regional representatives, we are finalizing the Economic Development Plan to be presented to Council in September (date and time TBD).
